yes. excellent point....this is all so disturbing on SO many levels....I was born in CT, and I live in Maine now, and my son was removed from my care when i filed for protection from the court....In Maine....NOONE will talk about it....The first mom i spoke to was in NY....and it was 3 weeks ago.....the galment to reverse custody was 9/19......no victims no politics no agencies. no help....no dialogue...no nothing. It feaked me out!!! 50 states have mothers groups....Maine has noone in it....or a few....they are all too afraid....thats the underground word......I, told the pole smokers they would have to kill me when they were relentlessly threatening me to "stop talking about the abuse" and, i refused to pay him.....so that frigged him right up....and he filed to withdraw....(although, these sociopaths are so unpredictable, who knows why....) I have (sadly) met tens of thousands of families suffering from this....we HAVE to make this about the real issue.....CHILD SAFETY....i welcome your insight and public appeal to join me while i mop up the sociopaths mess...and create some federal legislation for child protection......because there is none, and that, is just disturbing.....so many mommies with broken hearts....so many babies in HELL!!!! Did you hear the one where the Connecticut GAL went to federal bankruptcy court to claim her fees against a litigant victim? The GAL had no published order of the Connecticut Family Court to be paid, had no affidavit of fees and no competent answers to questions of the federal judge. Again, Judge Munro cannot even follow the most basic concepts of law in fleecing litigants and college funds for the benefits of her pets like Mary Brigham and similar vultures of the family court.....it is all in the best interest of the children, but does not stand up to a few simple questions from a federal judge. BOOM!!

Why does society put so much faith in the poor judgment of clowns appointed to the bench by a shadowy political process? Look at these people in Connecticut, mostly sub performers as attorneys, working for no name law firms where the fax machine is the only real asset. Losers from college, sleepers at no name law schools in the local area. All of poor scholarly report and none of intellect required for application of discretion. Most worked for years as a nobody lawyer playing the corrupt legal games in front of the bench. Only redeeming quality is that they were deemed loyal enough to join the crooked game on the backside of the bench. Society is lost if it relies on folks like Munro, Adelman, Wetstone, Murphy, Pinkus, Gould. Just a bunch of knuckleheads who don't know the law, wear a black robe and hustle law for money. Crooks. Corrupticut.

Strange payment game is going on in judicial branch. Funny means of payments for services which benefit the local chapter of AFCC, the private fiefdom of Munro, Wetstone, Adelman, Kulak, Grant and 'friends' of GAL game. State money goes from Hartford through the books of AFCC in Madison for the benefit of CT Chapter AFCC in New Haven. Seems a long way to go to get from Hartford to New Haven. Of course the business office in New Haven is Tom Espisito's desk at his own office on Orange Street. Wonder where the money really goes???

Queen Munro has introduced the GAL reliance into the court system, has created need for supervised visitation, requires involvement of evaluators, parenting co-ordinators, and orders of post judgment therapy for adults.....all without legislative review....Lynda is brilliant. See is a mob boss. Controlling every revenue stream possible from families foolish enough to walk into her family court system. All AFCC invented 'best practices'....to generate revenue for the players that pay to play.

Real question is who are all the beneficiaries??? Too much money to keep to herself, how far are the spoils spread? Far enough obviously, not even the governor will look into her parlour.

How to put Munro, Wetstone, Adelman, Quinn, Pinkus in jail.....follow the money, see where the taxes were not paid. Simple. It got Capone, can get the judge crooks too!!!

This article here is a breakthrough. I see several commenters "get" AFCC, but wonder if they get the extent of this association's networking, related multi-state trade association nonprofits, or who else is funding them. That's what I blog on, in detail.

However -- after ***over eight days*** of trying to get one comment posted (under my IP, through disqus, from a different email, bringing the issue up to the WT Communities forum administrator, resulting in a brushoff (not her problem, it must be all in my head, or on my end), I moved my comments on this exact material, back to my blog. With over 550 posts on this matter, specifically the money trail in the courts. (To find, search a recent Editorial at the Washington Post, "Custody Conference Shines the Light on Plight of Battered Mothers Seeking Custody." You'll be able to figure out which comments are mine -- they have links, ask uncomfortable questions, and don't contain the phrase "Thank you for your courage in publishing this to shine the light, oh blessed WP").

Anne Stevenson also has an excellent summary of the federal input over at HuffPost. This field CANNOT be understood without reference to the federal grants (esp. HHS and DOJ) and is NOT a matter of personalities of judges. Discussions of personalities of judges etc. are less important than identifying the systems which put them at the top of a courthouse and in teaching positions at law schools, etc.

This is a very high-stakes chess game with million$ (actually billion$) of taxpayer; and knowing the moves and strategies in advance (try reading the opposing side's blueprints instead of creatively insulting the individual players)

In chess "You lousy queen; your knight has REALLY lost his bounce" will not affect game outcome [unless it distracts or intimidates the person who moves them around, which is who you should really be concerned about] The functions of the various players can be named, in relation to a fairly predictable economic/corporate blueprint. How does money (including public money) move from point A to point B? is the vital question. Next question: What can be done about it, and how?

There is so much brewing. Just spending some serious (and informed) time on the state judiciary website would be a real eyeopener. I'm not from Connecticut and just did.

For example outside (private money) influences on the judicary's or assembly's task forces on family matters through Task Forces and Advisory Committees.... It's as though when the words: parent, child, abuse, protect, or family, or even justice are in a group (OR gov't agency) title, people suddenly go deaf, dumb, and blind on the corporate and conflicts-of-interest matters, and talk instead about negative custody outcomes. Instead, just decode the talk and look up the corps. I did, you can.

Similar information about the slush funds was exposed over a decade ago in L.A., then buried under advocacy groups who all wanted to get in on the Train the Trainers soup line.

A Connecticut family court judge will appoint her pet GAL to a case, but the judge turn a blind eye to the absence of a signed service agreement between the GAL and the litigants. An agreement would be an enforceable contract which the judge nor the GAL wants. The judge will never require the GAL to file an affidavit of fees. That would only serve to alert the IRS that fees were paid. That would leave an auditable trail for the tax collector to follow. The court does not issue 1099's for the spoils awarded to the GAL so the payment is invisible to the tax man. The GAL lawyer does not declare the fees as there is no service agreement and no record in the court file of the amount of money involved. The judge knows this, the GAL knows this so it is easy to give at least a third back to the judge as it would have gone to the IRS had the judge/GAL defraud team filed all the correct paperwork. However, it is unlikely that the judge is settling for just a third of the lick as it is only by the judge's discretion that the GAL gets appointed in the first place.

Judicial tax evasion.....so perfect. No one even smart enough to see what is going on in the Connecticut Family Racketeering Court.

Barbara is using federal grant money to pay for Lynda's membership dues in AFCC, the same organization for which Lynda sits on the board of directors. Nice to know that taxpayer money is being so well spent while dockets are backed up and the court festers in its own filth. Connecticut.....a people who cannot govern themselves nor police their own government.

A Stamford judge awards a lucrative immune appointment which bags more than the judge's salary in a few months? Tell me the judge did not get rewarded with the spoils from the unsuspecting parents. laundered through the GAL. All good parents spend $150k to get a uneducated third party legal opinion of what is best for their own kids.

Feds must be blind not to see the money game at hand. And no doubt all the proper income taxes were paid on the spoils before the judge got her cut.

Curious observation that a GAL in Stamford is appointed at a rate of $500/hr. The goon runs up a $150,000.00 bill. Does anyone honestly believe that the judge who found this 'reasonable' did not get a piece of that lick? Must make the judges out in Tolland feel discarded and worthless. Is there even a lawyer in Tolland who has billed over $300 in that backwater courthouse? Obviously, there is a pecking order to judges and courthouses.

If the Feds were not paid by their political masters to look the other way in Connecticut, the obvious is still hard to ignore. A state audit turned up $12M of unaccounted judicial funds. But no one even went looking for it nor did the judicial management even raise and eyebrow. Ignoring the issue by the Chief Justice, betrays her involvement in the disappearance of the funds. If she was not guilty of conspiring to embezzle state funds, she would have ordered an investigation to recover the funds to support her department. Chase knows how to appoint GAL's, AMC's, order psychological investigations....she is a former family law racketeer, she knows what forensic accountants are for, but dear old Chase, knowing exactly where the money went and why, just ignores the matter, after all, look who put her in the job. Just another band of thieves, in black robes.

The annual judges conference is this week. The assignment rotations will be made public, presently the list is still secret and cannot be shared with common folk. The telling revelation will be the fact that musical benches ends for Lynda Murno. She is out. The big question is who is the new Chief Administrative Judge of Family Division? Will it be a clone of Munro to keep the financial racketeering going for the benefit of AFCC 'contributors'? Will it be another former GAL who has dreamed of ascending to the throne?

Or is there an outside chance that Chase Rogers will put in a clean up artist to purge the family court of the stench left over from years of corruption?

Given the money at stake, bet on Lynda Munro's evil twin sister or brother ascending the royal steps.

Feds? And what are the feds supposed to do with the cesspool of family court judges? The feds can't see that there is an income test in application of law in Connecticut? If one family has income and assets, then you get your divorce with expensive psyche evals, expensive therapists, expensive supervised visitation, expensive parent co-ordinators, expensive GAL's, expensive AMC's, lots of court time so the lawyers can bill lots of hours.....yes, if you have lots of income you have a very expensive application of equal protection. But if you are poor, you get none of the above, you get cheap application of equal protection. All the expensive parts are AFCC policies, best practices, consensus of the barbarians themselves. Note there are no AFCC policies to deal with families with no money, they are just irrelevant.

You see, if there is money to be made then the court needs all this expensive help to make its decision. But if there is no private money to fuel the racketeering and judicial kickbacks, the case is not a money maker and it is just a judicial nuisance as it will not augment the judge's income; kickbacks.

See it is all about money, nothing about law and not even related to kids. But the feds are just blind, or controlled by AFCC as well.

If the feds are reading: Judges in Connecticut are ordering appointments of parenting co-ordinators in decrees. Meaning the court/state is appointing a person to interfere with adult life, invasion of privacy, custodial interference after divorce. This is the same AFCC scam that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled was an improper delegation of court authority and struck it down, voiding all orders of parenting co ordinators. It was a back door scam by AFCC which is showing up in Connecticut decrees and of course the parties have to pay big bucks for this professional parenting co ordinator service, which is unregulated and is not licensed by the state.....just created by the courts....those judges whose power is limited by law???

Come on Mr. Fed, where are you? Where are your champions of justice and protectors of civil rights??

Excellent question. The GAL's are divided up into 4 territories according to the following quote taken from Munro/Horowitz/Krieger's presentation at the AFCC conference last weekend in LA. "The GAL/AMC Academies, newly designated as Regional Academies of Child Advocates ("RACA"), will begin, or renew, meeting after the Pilot Training is complete, in 2010 and 2011. The Academy Steering Committee currently consists of attorneys Barry Armata, Maureen
Murphy, Steven Dembo and Justine Rakich-Kelly. The Children's Law Center will serve as the coordinating entity of the Academies. At the present time, we have four RACAs designed to cover the state: Central/Northeastern; New Haven; Fairfield; Greater Waterbury/Western."

If you are an attorney, a GAL, or someone who works for the court and you have inside information, post it anonymously here. I bet the feds are reading the comments. There are good judges who just want to go to work and make a clean living, and there are kids who need to be rescued. The wall of silence from insiders cannot stand if they would like a better work environment.

In hearing of various court orders issued from the Hartford Family Courthouse, there are odd restrictions of orders for 'therapy' regarding the providers. Some orders name the provider, some orders restrict the location to the provider to Hartford County, some orders restrict the location of the provider to a distance from Hartford. Does this betray that the judges have a territory for which it controls the award of therapy and the private fees to be paid to the protected providers. Or is it that only providers in the judge's territory will kick back commissions to the judge??? Certainly no legal basis for such restrictions, more just a turf protection.

But if the parties don't have assets then the world can be round, as the state will not pay to carry out Munro's therapy, only private psychologist who bill hundreds and hour can make the world flat.
